What To Expect From Your Child’s Appointment

At their first appointment, one of our dental hygienists will clean your child’s teeth gently to remove plaque, tartar, and other debris. We may also recommend x-rays for older kids. Then, your child’s dentist will enter the room. They’ll perform an oral exam, review your child’s x-rays, if applicable, and discuss their oral health with you. If they notice any issues, you’ll schedule a follow-up for treatment. Otherwise, you and your child will simply come back in six months for another quick checkup!

Dental Sealants

Dental sealants, often applied along the teeth with the deepest grooves, create an impenetrable seal over your child’s tooth, which stops bacteria from causing cavities.
